*Presentations can be done either in English or Bahasa Melayu.
Each participant will have the opportunity to present up to 1 paper as main author and 2 other papers as co-author.[br]
Panel for Symposia:
Please submit an abstract of 350 to 500 words and include your name as the symposia Chair/ panel using the conference online registration form below. Below is the template for the symposia abstract.[/cz_title][cz_gap height=”30px”][cz_title id=”cz_20156″]PRESENTATION TYPE
The conference includes oral/parallel presentations, poster presentations, panel/symposia (based on specific themes) and workshops.

Conference Paper
The length of the Conference Paper is 1500-2000 words, inclusive of Abstract and References.
The paper has to be submitted in MS Word file. The submission deadline is 10/10/2023.

Full Paper Submission
Selected full papers presented at the conference will be published in the following journals:

Selected papers will be published in the special issue of Pertanika JSSH. The theme of this special issue is ‘Applied Linguistics Research in the Post-Pandemic Era’. Pertanika JSSH is an official journal of Universiti Putra Malaysia. It is an open-access online scientific journal. It publishes original scientific outputs. It neither accepts nor commissions third party content. Recognised internationally as the leading peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original papers, it serves as a forum for practical approaches to improve quality on issues pertaining to science and engineering and its related fields. Selected papers will be published in The Journal of Language for Specific Purposes International. LSP International Journal is a blind, peer reviewed journal. It is published biannually (June and December) by Language Academy, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. It is an open access online journal which is free of charge. It covers the area related to Language for Specific Purposes researchers, practitioners and users from all over the world to exchange research findings, experience and view on matters related to the following areas: LSP, EAP and ESP, LSP and ESP initiatives (projects/techniques/innovations), LSP and ESP Teacher/Professional Training, Academic/Workplace Literacy, Discourse / Genre Analysis, Materials/Course Design, LSP and ESP Methodology, Testing and Evaluation, CALL & Professional Discourse and Communication. Before submitting their full paper, authors are requested to follow the submission guidelines.
ASEAN Journal of Applied Linguistics (https://ejournal.maal.org.my/asjal)
Selected papers will be published in the ASEAN Journal of Applied Linguistics. ASJAL is a journal of the Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics (MAAL) that caters to applied linguistics researchers in Malaysia, the ASEAN region and beyond. It is published online annually, is blind-refereed and has an international editorial board. Its aim is to disseminate applied linguistics research carried out mainly in the ASEAN region and to encourage discussion and collaboration between applied linguists in the region and internationally. Publication is free of charge. Please follow the submission guidelines before submitting your full paper to ASJAL.

The Journal of Language and Communication (JLC) is the official journal of Universiti Putra Malaysia published by UPM Press. It is an open access online journal which is free of charge. It covers the discipline(s) or sub-discipline(s) of Arts and Humanities (Languages & Linguistics) and Social Sciences (Media & communication). Before submitting their full paper, authors are requested to follow the submission guidelines of this journal.

Selected papers related to area of feedback will be published under the Research Topic Title: Promoting Innovative Learning-oriented Feedback Practice: Engagement, Challenges, and Solutions in Frontiers in Psychology, a multidisciplinary and open-access journal, that aims to be at the forefront of disseminating the best scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries to researchers, academics, clinicians and the public worldwide. MAALIC2023 presenters interested in submitting abstracts and full papers under this research topic are requested to follow the guidelines stated on the journal website.
