THEME: Innovating Society, Industry and Education through Applied Linguistics: Prospects and Challenges

Language and linguistics play central roles in our daily lives. This conference aims to showcase how applied linguistics and its sub-fields interpret the events which unravel in our VUCA world, as well as share insights on how applied linguistics can be used as a tool to provide solutions for a more sustainable world. We anticipate lively exchange of ideas on how language and communication in a multiplicity of languages and settings can help us brave the current bleak global landscape to move forward confidently to embrace new norms. This conference provides an opportunity to explore how applied linguistics can unravel the intricacies of interactions brought about by technology, and how innovations in the society, industry and education can enhance language use and communication towards sustainable development goals.[/cz_title][cz_gap][cz_title id=”cz_79925″]The Sub-themes of the conference consist of the following:[/cz_title][cz_accordion first_open=”true” id=”cz_88258″ sk_active=”color:#ffffff;background-color:#1e1e1e;” sk_title_hover=”color:#ffffff;background-color:#1e1e1e;”][cz_acc_child title=”1.
